Last week investigators searching for Madeleine McCann issued an image  of an Australian woman they want to interview in connection with the girl’s disappearance.

The suspect — described as a “Victoria Beckham-lookalike” — was spotted in Barcelona just over 72 hours after Madeleine vanished in the Algarve.

The investigators working for Madeleine’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann , believe she was abducted from the family’s apartment and possibly smuggled on to a yacht and taken to Spain.

The suspect, who appeared agitated, spoke to a British tourist and mentioned a child abduction. Details of the conversation are not being revealed but are said to be “highly significant”. (more…)

Today is International Missing Children’s Day.

The idea of your child going missing is something that no parent can begin to comprehend. 

The main purpose of the International Missing Children’s Day is to encourage the population to think about all the children still missing in Europe and around the world and to spread a message of hope and solidarity at international level to parents who have no news about their children and do not know where they are or what has become of them.

The symbol of this day is the Forget me Not Flower.
