Your child’s first birthday party is a joyous event for the whole family!

But where do you start with the planning. It will be a day to remember, for Moms and Dads more than the little one – but hey, it’s fun and just think of the stories and photos you can share as your child grows up.

So remember if you want to plan something elaborate that is just fine, as long as you do not expect your baby to appreciate all the effort you have put in!

It is a good idea to keep the party short – 1-11/2 hours is about right otherwise the children can easily get over stimulated and probably a bit cranky. The grown ups can always continue the celebrations after baby has gone to sleep! So time the party for when your baby will be at her best and not too tired. (more…)
