About Me

My name is Susan and my children are now grown up young men of 17 and 22, although both still live at home with me and my husband.
I think they have it too comfortable – I run a very cheap 5* hotel! Room service, laundry service – see it was much easier when they were tiny.

I am now a work at home Mom for the last year and a bit, and loving it.
I love working on my various websites and just love being able to help people in any way I can.

My family live close by and I am constantly surrounded by children of a variety of ages. My dear sister-in-law has 3 daughters who all have families.
A total of 7 children with ages ranging from 2 years to 20 years! So there is always some child related problem to be dealt with in my life.
One of the children has an autistic spectrum disorder, and my own eldest son has similar problems, so every day can be a challenge.
So all these children around me gave me the idea for this blog you are reading now!

I am not a professional in the child care area, but I sure do have a ton of experience, and lots of understanding and common sense – I think!
